Pemberdayaan Kewirausahaan Ibu-Ibu Rumah Tangga Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Rempeyek Dan Berbagai Olahan Pisang Di Dusun Rejo Mulyo Mendalo Darat Muaro Jambi

Abstract

Limited access to productive economic activities remains one of the challenges faced by housewives in rural areas. This condition has resulted in the underutilization of local economic potential, particularly in the processing of food resources that are readily available in the surrounding environment. This Community Service activity aimed to empower housewives in Rejo Mulyo Hamlet, Mendalo Darat, Muaro Jambi Regency through entrepreneurship training based on local food processing, specifically the production of rempeyek and various banana-based products. The implementation methods included entrepreneurship counseling, hands-on product processing training, and discussions on business opportunities and simple marketing strategies. The results of the activity indicated a high level of enthusiasm among participants, who were able to understand and independently carry out the production process, from raw material preparation to product packaging. In addition to improving technical skills, this activity also encouraged increased awareness and motivation among participants to initiate home-based businesses as an effort to supplement household income. Therefore, this program contributes to strengthening the economic independence of housewives and promoting sustainable utilization of local resources at the community level.
