Peer Review Process

Decisio: Journal of Judicial Law and Procedure implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published manuscripts.

All submissions undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team to assess their relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to plagiarism detection prior to being sent for peer review.

Eligible manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area. Both reviewer and author identities are concealed throughout the review process to ensure objectivity and fairness.

The peer review process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers.

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be one of the following:

  • Accepted
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Rejected

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewer comments. Revised submissions may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.

All accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, proofreading, and layout editing prior to publication.

The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of the review process. Any conflicts of interest involving editors, reviewers, or authors must be disclosed and appropriately managed.
